This project is about self identity and originality. I wanted to incorporate myself literally into the piece by tracing my hand and allowing myself to be a part of the work. The shapes and organic lines are made to look as they are pooling from my hand, spilling onto the surface. This symbolizes my creative process and experimentation with new media, where I am unable to control where my ideas may go and what they may become.
On the right side of the piece, there is a form of a head, breathing in a heartbeat line, which cements the feeling that, as an artist, innovation and creativity is what I live for.
